Parasha Toldot – 2023
Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.
This week we bring the activity of the parasha Toldot, in it we will see: Birth of Jacob and Esau, Esau sells his birthright, Isaac in Gerar, Jacob obtains the blessing of Isaac and Jacob flees from Esau.
B’reisheet (Genesis) 25:29-31
29 Now Jacob cooked a stew; and Esau came in from the field, and he was weary.
30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Please feed me with that same red stew, for I am weary.” Therefore his name was called Edom.
31 But Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright as of this day.”
This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:
- B’reisheet (Genesis) 25:19-28:9
- Malachi (Malachi) 1:1-2:7
- Mattityahu (Matthew) 6
We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.
Shalom.
