Shlach,Ā Shelach,Ā Sh'lah,Ā Shlach Lecha, orĀ Sh'lah L'khaĀ (שְׁלַחā€Ž orĀ ×©Ö°××œÖ·×—-לְךÖøā€Žā€”HebrewĀ for ā€œsend,ā€ ā€œsend to you,ā€ or ā€œsend for yourselfā€).

Parasha Shelach, in Numbers, tells the story of the twelve spies sent to scout the Promised Land. While Joshua and Caleb express confidence, the majority convey fear, causing panic among the Israelites. Elohim responds with a decree that the generation of the spies will not enter the land. Shelach highlights the consequences of fear and lack of faith, underscoring the importance of trust in divine promises. It shapes the Israelites' destiny, foreshadowing the extended journey through the wilderness.
