Parasha Mishpatim – 2023
Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.
This week we bring the activity of the parasha Mishpatim, in it we will see: Laws about slaves, laws about acts of violence, laws about responsibilities of masters and owners, laws about restitution, humanitarian laws, the three annual feasts, the messenger of Yahweh sent to guide Israel and Moshe and the elders at Mount Sinai.
Shemote (Exodus) 21:2-3
2 If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years; and in the seventh he shall go out free and pay nothing.
3 If he comes in by himself, he shall go out by himself; if he comes in married, then his wife shall go out with him.
This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:
- Shemote (Exodus) 21:1-24:18
- Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 33-34
- Yochanan (John) 10
We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.
Shalom.
