Parasha Ekev – 2022
Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.
This week we bring the activity of the parasha Ekev in it we will see: Blessings of obedience, the good land they are to possess, admonition not to forget Elohim, Elohim will destroy the nations of Canaan, Israel’s rebellion at Horeb, the renewed covenant, what Elohim demands, the greatness of Yahweh, blessings of the promised land.
Devarim (Deuteronomy) 9: 16-17
16 And I looked, and behold, you had sinned against Yahweh your Elohim had made for yourselves a molded calf! You had turned aside quickly from the way which Yahweh had commanded you. 17 Then I took the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes.
This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:
- Devarim (Deuteronomy) 7:12 – 11:25
- Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 49-51
- Yochanan (John) 13-15
We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.
Shalom.
