Parasha Acharei Mot – 2022
Shabbat Shalom, Nazarenes.
This week we bring the activity of the parasha Acharei Mot (After the death). In it we will study about the day of atonement, prohibition of consuming blood and the prohibited acts of immorality.
Vayiqra (Leviticus) 16:7-10
And he shall take the two goats, and present them before Yahweh at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for Yahweh, and the other lot for the scapegoat. And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which Yahweh lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering. But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before Yahweh, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.
This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:
- Vayiqra (Leviticus) 16:1-18:30
- Ezekiel 22:1-19
- Ephesians 5
We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.
Shalom.
