Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.
This week we bring the activity of the parashah Vayeira, in it we will see: promise of the birth of Isaac, Abraham intercedes for Sodom, destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham and Abimelech, Birth of Isaac, Hagar and Ishmael are expelled from Abraham’s house, covenant between Abraham and Abimelech and Yahweh orders Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.
B’reisheet (Genesis) 22:2
2 Then He said, “Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.”
This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:
- B’reisheet (Genesis) 18:1-22:24
- Melachim Bet (2 Kings) 4:1-37
- Luqa (Luke) 2:1-38
We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.
