Parasha Emor – 2023

Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.

This week we bring the activity of the parasha Emor, in it we will see: Holiness of the priests, holiness of the offerings, the set apart convocations, oil for the lamps, the shewbread and the punishment of the blasphemer.

Vayiqra (Leviticus) 23:2-3
2 Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: “The feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be set-apart convocations, these are My feasts.
3 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a set-apart convocation. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of Yahweh in all your dwellings.”

This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:

  • Vayiqra (Leviticus) 21-24
  • Yehezqel (Ezekiel) 44
  • Ephesim (Ephesians) 5

We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
