Parasha Devarim- 2023

Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.

This week we bring the activity of the parasha Devarim, in it we will see: Moshe reminds Israel of Yahweh’s promises in Horeb, appointment of judges, mission of the twelve spies, Elohim punishes Israel, the defeat in Hormah, the years in the desert, Israel defeats Sheon and Israel defeats Og king of Bashan.

Devarim (Deuteronomy) 1:1
1 These are the words which Moshe spoke to all Israel on this side of the Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain opposite Suph, between Paran, Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:

  • Devarim (Deuteronomy) 1:1-2:1 / 2:2-30 / 2:31-3:22
  • Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 1:1-10 / 1:11-20 / 1:21-31
  • Marqos (Mark) 14:1-25 / 14:26-50 / 14:51-72

We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
