The Creation of Yahweh – 7 signs of the Creator’s love

The Creation of Yahweh

Shabbat shalom, Nazarene family.

This week we will study the creation of Yahweh, where we will see what was created each day and in what order. In addition, in the Bible reading, we will learn what each created thing looked like to Yahweh, the ordinance he gave to any of them, and what was the special day that Yahweh Elohim set aside for a specific purpose.

The biblical passages used in this study are:
  • The creation of Yahweh: B’reisheet (Genesis) 1
  • The Sabbath day: B’reisheet (Genesis) 2:1-3
Some of the lessons learned from this study include:
  • In six days, Yahweh creates the world and everything in it, culminating in the creation of man and woman in His image. This creation is accomplished through the power of the divine word. The story teaches us about order, goodness and purpose in creation, as well as Yahweh’s rest on the seventh day, establishing the concept of the Sabbath or Shabbat. It also reveals man’s dominion over the earth and the responsibility to care for it as stewards of the divine creation.

In summary, in this study we will see that the power of Yahweh’s word was able to create all that we see. His creation was good and so was the purpose He gave to man. Furthermore, we see how Yahweh Himself gives us the example of resting on the Sabbath or Shabbat, urging us to do the same, for we must love and obey Him in all things.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 2:1-3
1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.
2 And on the seventh day Elohim ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.
3 Then Elohim blessed the seventh day and set-apart it, because in it He rested from all His work which Elohim had created and made.

We hope that you, and especially your sons and daughters, will enjoy this activity. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
