Parashah Lech Lecha – 2022

Shabbat Shalom, Nazarenes.

Already counting the Omer, and now waiting for the feast of Shavuot, we continue with the parashah Lech Lecha (Go for you), where we will see the call of our father Abraham and his path of trust in Yah’elohim.

Bereishit (Genesis) 15:5-6
5 And he brought him forth, and said unto him, Look now toward heaven, and number the stars, if thou be able to number them. And he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
6 And he believed Yahweh, and it was counted to him for righteousness.

This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:

  • Genesis 12:1 – 17:27
  • Isaiah 40:27 – 41:16
  • Matthew 1:1-17

We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
