Parasha Vezot Haberakhah – 2022

Shabbat Shalom, Nazarenes.

This week in the parasha Vezot Haberakhah we will read the blessings that Moses pronounced to the 12 tribes of Israel before his death on Mount Nebo and the filling of the spirit of wisdom of Joshua son of Nun to continue leading the Israelite people.

Deuteronomy 33:9-12
9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom Yahweh knew face to face,
11 In all the signs and the wonders, which Yahweh sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,
12 And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.

This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:

  • Deuteronomy 33:1-34:12
  • Matthew 5, 7

We hope you and especially your sons and daughters will enjoy this endeavor. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
