Parasha Nasso – 2022

Shabbat Shalom, Nazarenes.

This week we bring the activity of the parasha Nasso (Take a census). In it we will see: duties of the Levites, laws about restitution, laws about jealousy, the vow of the Nazarites, the priestly blessing and offerings for the dedication of the altar.

Numbers (Bamidbar) 4:21-23
And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying, 22 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families; 23 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:

  • Numbers (Bamidbar) 4:21-7:89
  • Judges 13-15
  • John 11

We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
