Parasha Vayakhel/Pekudei – Year 2 – Tabernacle Lessons.
Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.
This week we will study the parasha Vayakhel/Pekudei, portion of year 2, where we will see the construction of the Tabernacle and its elements, where Elohim Himself gave detailed instructions to Moshe (Moses) on how to build a special place where He could be close to His people. Each object that was ordered to be built had a special purpose and signified Yahweh’s presence and glory. We will learn the importance of obeying Yahweh’s instructions and see how He provides a place to be with us.
Shemote (Exodus) 38:21-22
21 This is the inventory of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the Testimony, which was counted according to the commandment of Moshe, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.
22 Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that Yahweh had commanded Moshe.

Summary of the weekly study, Year two:
Shemote (Exodus) 37:17-39:21
In these verses, the construction of the Tabernacle and its furnishings is narrated, following the detailed instructions that Yahweh gave Moshe. This passage shows us the elaboration of the lampstand, the table of shewbread, the altar of incense, the altar of burnt offerings, and the cover of the Tabernacle. Each component is constructed with precious materials and with great care, reflecting the importance of obedience to divine directives. We will learn about reverence for Yahweh’s instructions and the desire to provide a sacred and dignified place for His presence among His people.
Melachim Bet (2 Kings) 23:1-20
In these verses, King Josiah summons the people of Judah to renew the covenant with Yahweh and to eliminate the idolatry that had infiltrated the kingdom. Josiah destroys altars and objects of pagan worship, including idols and places of worship in the forests and in the Temple. He also restores religious practices in accordance with the Law of Moshe, including the celebration of Pesach. This reform shows Josiah’s commitment to return to the true worship of Yahweh and the importance of faithfully following the divine laws, eliminating any influence that would divert the people from the true faith.
Yochanan Aleph (1 John) 2
In these verses, it discussed how believers are to live in obedience to Yahweh and how to distinguish between true faith and error. Yochanan (John) teaches that Yeshua is our advocate and that, by following His example, we can have forgiveness and salvation. He warns against the love of the world and its desires, as these are contrary to Elohim’s will. The chapter also shows us the importance of knowing the Messiah and keeping the true faith, and exhorts us to live as Yeshua lived, in righteousness and truth. It is a call to authenticity and faithfulness in our relationship with Yahweh.

And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.
