The Death Of Yeshua.

Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.

This week we will learn about The Death Of Yeshua, where we will see the trial before Pilate and how Yeshua was handed over to be crucified for us. We will read about the painful journey to Golgotha and the mockery he endured with infinite patience. We will learn that, by dying on the cross, all the ancient prophecies of redemption were fulfilled. We will see miraculous signs, such as the veil of the temple being torn, demonstrating that the direct path to Yahweh was opened forever. Finally, we will read about His burial in a new tomb, understanding that His sacrifice was the greatest act of love to give us eternal salvation.

The biblical passages used in this study are:

  • The crucifixion: Mattityahu (Matthew) 27:32-44
  • The Death of Yeshua: Mattityahu (Matthew) 27:45-56
  • Yeshua is buried: Luqa (Luke) 23:50-56

Some of the lessons learned from this study include:

  • The Crucifixion: We will see Yeshua on Golgotha, crucified between two thieves while suffering mockery from the leaders. We will read about Simon of Cyrene helping to carry the cross and how the plan of redemption was fulfilled. We will learn that the Master willingly accepted this sacrifice out of love for us, demonstrating perfect obedience to Yahweh.
  • The Death of Yeshua: We will see darkness covering the earth and the moment when the veil of the temple was torn in half. We will read about the earthquake and the centurion’s amazement at recognizing that Yeshua was the Son of Elohim. We will learn that his death opened up direct access for humanity to Yahweh’s presence forever.
  • The Burial of Yeshua: We will see Joseph of Arimathea providing a new tomb to bury the body with dignity. We will read about the faithfulness of the women who watched the tomb and prepared aromatic spices before observing the Sabbath. We will learn that even in the silence of the tomb, the devotion of his followers and the divine plan remained steadfast.

In summary, in these passages we learn that Yeshua’s sacrifice was the ultimate act of love for our redemption. We will see how the miraculous signs and the torn veil opened direct access to Yahweh. We will read about His dignified burial, understanding that even in the silence of the tomb, the promises were faithfully fulfilled. We will learn that His death and resurrection are the fundamental basis of our hope and eternal salvation.

Mattityahu (Matthew) 27:54
54 So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Yeshua, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of Elohim!”

We hope that you, and especially your sons and daughters, will enjoy this activity. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
