About

Welcome to Beit Sefer

Beit Sefer is a children’s project of Nazarene Israel, the original apostolic faith, as mentioned in Scripture in Acts 24:5 and 28:22.

Ma’asei (Acts) 24: 5
5  “For we have found this man to be a plague, a creator of dissensions among the Jews throughout the world, and the ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.”

Every day, more devout Christians are awakening to the fact that the Jewish-Israelite Messiah (Yeshua, or also known as Jesus by many) did not come to start a new religion, or to replace Israel with the Christian church system. Nazarene Israel is our effort to reestablish the original first-century faith by studying the Scriptures and applying His example to ourselves, as Scripture tells us.

Yehudah (Jude) 3
3  Beloved, while I was striving hard to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you, exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once delivered to the saints.

We are told that the end times will be chaotic, and that there will be many trying to deceive us.

Marqaus (Mark) 13: 22-23
22  For false messiahs and false prophets will arise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, the elect.
23  But beware; See, I have told you all things beforehand.

And for this reason, and thinking of future generations and how to educate the children of Yahweh in the original faith, we have created Beit Sefer, designed to share and create biblical teachings for the whole family, and especially children, clean of all doctrine and error. Nazarene sisters and brothers share and create all the doctrinally clean and educational material for our children, and we also want to bless all Nazarene parents in this vision.

By the Book

While there are many Hebrew Roots ministries, what distinguishes Nazarene Israel is our focus on obeying the written Word, neither adding to it nor taking away from it.

TimaTheus Bet (2 Timothy) 2:5
5  And also, if someone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.

This is why we want to create educational material for children clean of any kind of unscriptural traditions, discarding all practices created outside the inspiration of the Scriptures.

1 Timothy 4:6-7
6  If you teach the brethren these things, you will be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished by the words of the faith and of the good doctrine which you have followed.
7  Put away profane and old wives’ fables. Exercise yourself for righteousness;

The Rules of Acts 15

As we explained in our studies, Acts 15 is very misunderstood. Acts 15 was where the apostles ruled that those who had received the Spirit of Yeshua could enter the synagogues if they first obeyed four key precepts of the Law of Moses (Torah):

  • No idolatry
  • No sexual immorality (including unjust divorce)
  • No strangled (or unclean) meat (Leviticus 11)
  • No eating blood

The apostles ruled that, if new converts obeyed these four Torah principles, then they could enter the synagogues, where they could enter into relationship with the rest of the body, and learn the rest of the Torah over time. Even in the order of Melchizedek, it requires that we enter into a relationship of financial entitlement with the spiritual servants of the assembly (tithes, gifts and offerings).

Qorintim Aleph (1 Corinthians 9:11)
11  If we have sown spiritual things for you, is it a great thing if we reap your material things?

The goal is a relationship where everyone does their part to do the Great Commission of making disciples of all nations, commanded by Yeshua Messiah. Everyone contributes, and all who contribute receive their blessings for being faithful to Yahweh.

Ephesians 4:16
16  from which the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its proper function, causes the growth of the body to build itself up in love.

WELCOME

If you want to practice the same faith that Messiah Yeshua taught His apostles to keep, and if you want to help His priesthood spread the Good News to the four corners of the earth, then welcome to Beit Sefer of Israel Nazarene.
