Parasha Lech Lecha – 2023

Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.

This week we bring the activity of the parashah Lech lecha, in it we will see: Yahweh calls Abram, Abram in Egypt, Abram and Lot separate, Abram frees Lot, Melchizedek blesses Abram, Yahweh promises Abram a son, Hagar and Ishmael, and circumcision as a sign of the covenant.

B’reisheet (Genesis) 12:1
1 Now Yahweh had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.

This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:

  • B’reisheet (Genesis) 12:1-17:27
  • Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 40:27-41:16
  • Mattityahu (Matthew) 1:1-17

We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.

Shalom.
