Parasha Va’etchanan – 2022
Shabbat Shalom, Nazarene family.
This week we bring the activity of the parasha Va’etchanan in it we will see: Moses is not allowed to enter Canaan, Moses exhorts to obedience, Israel’s experience in Horeb, warning against idolatry, the cities of refuge east of the Jordan, Moses recapitulates the promulgation of the law, the ten commandments, the terror of the people, the great commandment, exhortation to obedience, warning against idolatry in Canaan, a people set-apart to Yahweh.
Devarim (Deuteronomy) 5:1
1 And Moses called all Israel, and said to them: “Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your hearing today, that you may learn them and be careful to observe them.
This week corresponds to the reading of the texts:
- Devarim (Deuteronomy) 3:23-7:11
- Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 40
- Luqa (Luke) 22
We hope you and especially your sons and daughters enjoy this effort. For it is through the study of the Scriptures that we can come to understand the love and care that Yahweh has always had for us. And also to perceive that He has been taking care of even the smallest detail, so that we can take care and enjoy all that He gives us. That is why it is so important that our children learn and grow up knowing that they are loved by the Creator of all that exists.
Shalom.
